Tibco Data Virtualization client JDBC compatibility.

Hi Team,

Currently, we have TDV version 8.2 setup. One of the front end team is Oracle EBS based and they want to connect to TDV using our JDBC driver. We shared the csjdbc.jar file with them however, the 8.2 Tibco jdbc client driver supports jre 11 and jre8.

Unfortunately, the client tool Oracle EBS does not support jre8. It is having embedded jdk 1.7 version.

So, wanted to know if our 8.2 csjdbc.jar will support 1.7 version. Is it backward compatible

If not can we use csjdbc old version and connect to TDV 8.2 server from front end is that compatible
