Date Control fix the Year number from 2 digits iin 4 digits with "00" validation

Hi! i need to fix a problem in the date time control. In Particular if the user enter date time format (for italy version) dd/mm/yy and not the dd/mm/yy the date control will add two zero like this "00" before the 2 year digits.

An example is: if the user enter: 13/05/21, the tibco bpm date control will format it into 13/05/0021 and this is an error in our system.

How i can fix it i saw the validation tab in the properties of date control and i think can be useful but i'm not sure.

I'm an entry level andI will appreciate your tips and tricks. :)
