This is standard in a consolidation use case, in which you consolidate data from various/multiple datasources. Usually you create a data table for each data source and one consolidated table holding the golden records. In that way you can maintain the source system including an identifier in the source system.

Another option would be to create one or more additional attribute(s) to store source information. You could even have a reference table holding your source systems.
