Microsoft Sql Server Function Call in target connection

I hope the post is to the right place. I was looking to ask about "Cloud Integrations" but it wasn't an option. 

This relates to Tibco Cloud integration flows. I have a target MS Sql connection and am creating a new record. One of the values needs to be encoded which was done with a SQLQUERY function in Scribe Insight. I don't see any way to reference anything but a table in any of the sql operations available after the outer block Query or Native Query operations.

Is there a way to do this type of operation within a flow? Call a sql function in a sql target connection.

(Assume I can't make changes in the target database to add a trigger)
