how do I configure a data source for the cloud in WebFOCUS?

I am all very new to this, and we are just now getting everything set up in the cloud. I have been tasked with configuring the data source. So I am totally going from scratch here. If folks have questions for me to pinpoint better exactly what I am trying to do, I can ask other folks here and get back to you about it. We are currently using TIBCO's WebFOCUS container/package and another individual on the team was able to install it, but now I need to get the data source configured. Any help would be appreciated.
