Dynamic Organisation Model - Can the Dynamic Org Identifier be set to perform a case-insensitive evaluation

In our use case we have an Org Identifierwhere the input case of Department coming through to process cannot be guaranteed. LDAP has this in mixed case. Is it possible to perform a way or configuration which will allow the Dynamic Org Identifier to make a case-insensitive search
