Java Invoke activity in BW6.3 throws Provider org.apache.xpath.jaxp.XPathFactoryImpl not found

Hi ,

In TIBCO 6.3.5 a JavaInvoke activity is throwing the below error:

 

java.lang.RuntimeException: XPathFactory#newInstance() failed to create an XPathFactory for the default object model: http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom with the XPathFactoryConfigurationException: javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactoryConfigurationException: java.util.ServiceConfigurationError: javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory: Provider org.apache.xpath.jaxp.XPathFactoryImpl not found

 

I've set the below extended java properties in bwappnode.tra too, but no use.

 

java.extended.properties=-Djavax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory=com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl -Djavax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory=com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl -Djavax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory=com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.trax.TransformerFactoryImpl -Djavax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory=com.sun.org.apache.xpath.internal.jaxp.XPathFactoryImpl

 

Can anyone help me resolving this issue

Hi, you need to add the object modelhttp://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/domin VM arguments like below.

-Djavax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory:http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom=com.sun.org.apache.xpath.internal.jaxp.XPathFactoryImpl
