Liz Neiley
Greetings, My name is Liz Neiley and I am the Product Manager for Connectivity at Scribe Software. I am posting this article to make you aware of a new update from Microsoft, and more importantly, share with you a great way in which you can use Scribe to optimize performance when running your solutions! The link below contains information to optimize the performance of messages going to Dynamics 365 / CRM.Check out the link: https://support.tibco.com/s/article/Dynamics-365-performance-optimization If you have additional questions regarding the API limits from Microsoft, you can find their article here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/develop... Todd Bailey
Thanks Liz - so by adjusting Bulk Batch Size you can limit API hits and potentially improve performance!
Ana Bahr
You can also use Net Change and Filters in your Query Block to limit the number of records being processed. For Replication Solutions select Recommended Entities instead of All Entities to reduce the number of unnecessary records being replicated. Manoj Chaurasia
Thanks, Liz, Todd, and Ana! If we do hit an API limit in Scribe, should we expect to see the error message below as documented by Microsoft -2147015902Number of requests exceeded the limit of 60000, measured over time window of 300 seconds. Liz Neiley
Hi @Daniel Lynton, we know that it will be a fatal error and the message will likely be as per your example here. The content of the Microsoft error wording itself is subject to Microsoft of course, but I would expect it to be similar.
