You can only add Active Products

I have the following situation.

Order was created in CRM and submitted. Order integrates to Dynamics GP.

 

Upon order creation in GP, the order update comes back to CRM with the "Order number" so that the information can be populated on the order.

 

Now, the product on that order is now made inactive.

 

A new update is made to the order in GP and a new update message is triggered.

The scribe integration deletes the line items from the order and then puts them back. This works find if the product is active. In this case, the integration does not create the line items as it says it cannot add inactive product to an order.

 

How does one get around this I want to have the product inactive in CRM so they cannot add it to any future orders.
