Prevent users from modifying closed work items that results in unconfirmed record state

After a Work Item is closed , users are able to open the work item from the closed filter under Inbox and modify and save the record. Although they are unable to submit thork item, the saving of the modified record created an unconfirmed version of the record.

Hi,

This is the default behavior of MDM. After the workitem is closed/record is confirmed, the life cycle of workitem is completed.Then if any user modifies the closed work item, its like modifying the last confirmed record. Hope that answers your question.

Hi,

You can actually prevent users from modifyingclosed workitems by removing that option on dropdown. It can be done by placing javascript/jquery code (to remove that option) in common->your enterprise->htmlprops->custominit.html and refreshing the screen.
