Hi Community, we are working on Scribe Workbench 7.9.2 and would like to target a MySQL instance - never done before so could anyone show me a simple guideline how to achieve that many thanks! Christian

Hi,

Since this is regarding Scribe workbench (Scribe Insight on-premise integration tool).

I believe you could install MYSQL ODBC drivers on the Insight server and leverage odbc to setup connection to your MYSQL database server on-premise.

download here: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/

You may need to test different driver versions depending on your mysql server.

Test the connection out using the ms windows odbc utility and setting up system or user DSN.

Then test it with Scribe workbench.
