The configurations are saved in the server_values.xml file located in->conf->server folder and the server_def.xml file located in->apps->server folder.

These files will contains the list of the configurations and the values set for the TDV instance.

What happens if I update server_values.xml

If you update the server_values.xml -> save it -> restart the TDV server then you would see the changes made come into effect. You would see the changes in Studio -> Administration -> Configuration panel after the restart. It is good to have a backup of this file before you make any changes to it. Maintain caution when making changes.
