Basically, there are two ways to create a view: either from the model tab or SQL tab. If a view is created from SQL tab, the model tab will not be presnet. Only required to write a SQL and save the view. If model tab is selected, need to drag and drop the required tables and join as needed. Let us know if you have any additional questions on this front.
